Geneva, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Amsterdam, London back to Chicago and then a day trip to Toronto!
Geneva was a work trip but I had some time to look around and can now officially announce that Geneva is the most boring city in the world. Can anyone proof me wrong?
Hurried back to Amsterdam in time to have dinner with the "Friday-night gang". But you know this already if you have been reading Sjors and Lillians' blog!! They do a much better job in keeping people up to date :-)
Then... Justin Timberlake in concert!!! Yeahhh.. together with 35000 twelve year old screaming girls. No. Actually it was really good and we were certainly not the oldest in the Arena!
Next stop on the tour was Istanbul. The annual 'Trollen' weekend with Nico, Marlies and Nicole.
Fabulous city. Fabulous time... We even learned to appreciate the 4:30 call to prayer from the Blue Mosque right next to our hotel! We were proper tourists; visiting every mosque and palace in sight, taking bus tours and boat trips, shopping at the bazaar and bathing at a hamman, but still plenty of time to catch up with everyone's life over coffees, beers and wine!!
So, where are we going next year???
