Sjors and Lillian arrived, and so did the snow! They landed in a blizzard and it did not stop snowing until the next morning. That did not stop them from exploring the city. Cocktails at JinJu, wine at Marty's and lots of Starbucks made sure they stayed warm.
Next stop on their US tour was Los Gatos, California. From -20C to +20C!
Tempting..so I flew out for the weekend to join them with our friends Andre and Ellen.
The 'tropical' temperature and the promise to visit Ridge Winery on Saturday made me jump on the first flight west!!
Not sure what the highlight of the weekend was:
- Ridge wines with lunch in the sun, overlooking San Jose valley
- Beautiful San Francisco city views from the Golden Gate bridge
- Beating the girls with Pictionary - church/mosque/Taj Mahal!!
- Priceless
